One of our clients in the cultural field sought out ZAUM to translate all of the informational and descriptive material for a dance festival that took place in one of Brazil’s major cities. The client had a very short deadline but demanded very high quality. The material needed to be translated from Portuguese into English. Normally, if the job were performed by a single translator, it would take approximately twenty days. However, the client needed everything finished within ten days.

To work with this subject field, ZAUM’s Project Manager assembled a team with English-native translators and reviewers who also have excellent command of Brazilian Portuguese. In addition, the translators involved also needed to have had a good track record of work delivered to the same client.

Through teamwork and our project management, ZAUM was able to deliver part of the project before the deadline and the entire scope within the final delivery date agreed with the client. In addition, the client gave us a very positive evaluation on the quality of our translation. ZAUM is proud to have contributed towards the event’s organization, by providing high-quality translation that helps bridge language barriers, consequently helping promote the festival, by enabling a greater impact and participation of the interested audiences.

On future projects for this same client, we will be able to maintain the same standard of quality and use some of the translation memory from previous jobs, which will provide greater productivity, standardization and savings over the course of our relationship.
