Idlewild (“Idlewild” or “we”) is concerned with respecting and safeguarding your privacy.
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to all employees, suppliers, partners, and customers and is intended to provide the guidelines set forth and applied by Idlewild in the treatment of your personal information.
This Privacy Policy covers and contemplates, among other things, all collection and/or processing of personal information through various channels, such as websites, applications, social networks, sales and events, or processing of data provided by partners, customers and suppliers for the provision of services.

“Data Subject” is the natural person to whom the Personal Data that is the object of the Processing refers.
Depending on the type of Data Subject (employees, suppliers, partners or customers) and the way this Data Subject interacts with Idlewild, several categories of information are collected, such as:
- Personal contact information: Any information provided with contact intent, such as name, postal address, email address, business address, social media information, and phone number.
- Account Login Information: Any information required to provide access to a specific account profile for use of our services. Examples include email address, username, password in unrecoverable format, and/or security question and answer, among others.
- Technical computer/mobile device information: any information about the computer system or other device you use to access our pages, services, or applications, the IP address used to connect your computer or device to the internet, type of operating system, and the type and version of your web browser, or other browsing information.
- Financial and payment information: information necessary for the fulfillment of orders/contracts/billing/collections/remunerations/reimbursements. Idlewild certifies that its payment processing service ensures that financial and payment information complies with applicable laws, regulations, and security standards.
- Sensitive Personal Data: whenever it is necessary to collect and process Sensitive Personal Data for any reason, your prior and express consent will be requested. If the processing of Sensitive Personal Data is necessary for other purposes, these have a legal basis and Idlewild will provide prior notice to the Holder.
- Personal Data of Children and Adolescents: whenever it is necessary to collect and process Personal Data of children and minors (such as health insurance information and other benefits or obligations), explicit consent will be requested from parents or guardians.
2.1. Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data
The Processing of your Personal Data may be carried out by Idlewild with your consent, when applicable, in various means, by legal, regulatory, contractual obligation or in other ways. Idlewild may ask you to provide your consent in writing, or by any means that confirms it, whenever required.
Your Personal Data is collected to enable and/or improve the provision of the language services for which Idlewild has been contracted, as well as to:

- Sale of products and/or services;
- Risk management and detection, prevention, and/or remediation of fraud or other potentially illegal or prohibited activities, as well as violations of applicable policies, contracts, or terms of use;
- Protection, defense and administration of Idlewild’s interests;
- Carrying out projects and activities of environmental and social responsibility;
- Compliance with applicable legislation;
- Notification of any changes to this Privacy Policy;
- Fulfillment of any other demand requested by you to Idlewild;
2.2. Types of Data Collected on the Website and Forms of Registration
Idlewild collects Personal Data through online forms or by physical means when you, for example, register for an event, submit information to apply for a position, or fill out a contact form on the website.
When you register or submit your information to Idlewild, we generally ask for data such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, and company. In addition, other personal information may be received through resumes sent by you, when applying for a vacancy, through third parties, such as the company where you work, or even from public sources.
- Internet Browsing Data
When you visit our website, we collect standard internet log data and behavior pattern. Idlewild performs this action to gather information such as the number of visitors to different parts of the Idlewild website.
We use analytics tools that help us analyze access to and use of our website. The tool uses “cookies”, which are text files located on your computer, to collect standard internet log and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form, always for the purpose of evaluating the use of visitors to the website and compiling statistical reports on activity on the Idlewild website. - Data Storage and Retention
Idlewild may store your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy and applicable laws or regulations, as applicable. For the determination of the form and duration of the Processing of your Personal Data by Idlewild, the nature of your Personal Data provided to Idlewild and the purpose of the Processing will be considered. Once the purpose has been satisfied, your Personal Data will be deleted.
Public translations, also known as sworn translations, are public documents and cannot be discarded. The public translator must keep a copy of each translation made and register it with the state Board of Trade in which he or she is registered (Decree 13.609/43 and Resolution of the Board of Trade of each state).

- Sharing of Personal Data
Idlewild will not sell your Personal Data, but may share or transfer it to third parties, in Brazil or abroad, in order to fulfill the purposes set forth in this policy and any court orders or decisions of any other competent authority, in accordance with applicable law. Therefore, Idlewild may share or transfer your Personal Data with third parties, inside or outside Brazil, in the following cases:
- The services provided by Idlewild require the support of a technological infrastructure that can be established outside Brazil, such as servers and cloud services, which may be owned or provided by third parties, IT system providers or services related to payroll and human resources, among others;
- Banks, exclusively for contractual or labor transactions;
- Business partners with whom Idlewild maintains collaborations or alliances, who will be aware of and assume responsibilities and commitments regarding the privacy of Personal Data agreed upon in specific contractual clauses. By authorizing the quote, you are giving consent to Idlewild to send, when necessary, your personal data or possible personal and/or sensitive data contained in the documents sent, to partner professionals who are outside Brazil for the sole purpose of meeting your request for language services in the best way. The data sent will only be those necessary for the fulfillment of the requested activities, and the rights, principles, and safeguards established by the LGPD regime are guaranteed; and
- Administrative and judicial authorities that, in the exercise of their competence, require this information.
For the cases not foreseen above in which it is necessary to share Personal Data, the Personal Data Subject will be asked for their express authorization (consent) by sending a notification with information about the sharing.
In all cases, Idlewild undertakes to share only the Personal Data that is necessary to fulfill the respective purpose or to comply with the respective specific order, as the case may be.
- International Data Transfer
The services provided by Idlewild require the support of a technological infrastructure that can be established outside Brazil, such as servers and cloud services, which may be owned or provided by third parties. In addition, in order to carry out its activities, Idlewild may have to share your Personal Data with third parties outside Brazil.
In these cases, Idlewild ensures that it will only contract with third parties that meet the highest security standards and that apply, at least, the same level of compliance with the LGPD, such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for data transfer to Europe, and with the ADPPA (American Federal Privacy and Data Protection Act) for data transferred to the USA.
- Security
Idlewild and the third parties with whom your Personal Data may be shared observe the security standards necessary for the prevention and remediation of unauthorized access to Personal Data, employing the applicable means and recommended security standards to protect them to the extent that they are technically and operationally feasible.
- Third-Party Linking
Idlewild may offer links to third-party websites for the purpose of improving your browsing experience, information or provision of services. Idlewild clarifies that this Privacy Policy does not apply to Personal Data provided by you to any companies, individuals and/or

- Data Subject Rights
Idlewild respects your privacy and is concerned with providing the necessary channels so that you can exercise your rights and receive adequate, clear and transparent information about the use and processing of your Personal Data. Accordingly, any request to change incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data and/or to delete data provided to Idlewild, including Personal Data, must be made by email to privacidade@korntraducoes.com.br.
The request will be analyzed and, if it does not imply interruption in the provision of services provided by Idlewild or falls into any of the hypotheses of data retention, it will be carried out. If it implies interruption in the provision of services, your relationship with Idlewild will be terminated, but the obligations arising from the provision will remain valid and, in this case, your information and Personal Data will continue to be used and processed by Idlewild and/or authorized third parties until the need or purposes set forth in this Policy are satisfied.
