Idlewild(“Idlewild” or “we”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to all employees, vendors, partners and
clients and aims to provide the guidelines defined and applied by Idlewild in the processing of your personal information.
This Privacy Policy covers and contemplates, among other things, all collection and/or processing of personal information through various channels, such as websites, applications, social media, sales and events, or data processing provided by partners, clients and vendors for the provision of services.
Our Privacy Policy is based on the ethics and values observed by Idlewild and complies with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law 13.709/2018) and the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Law 12.965/2014), which establish principles, guarantees and duties for the use of the Internet in Brazil.

It is important that the Privacy Policy be interpreted in conjunction with and in accordance with any other privacy document, agreement or clause that accompanies it. Idlewild will act as the controller of your Personal Data, that is, we are responsible for decisions regarding the Personal Data Processing.

- Personal Data, Means of Collection and Purpose of Processing
“Personal Data” is information about an identified or identifiable natural person. Examples of Personal Data include full name, profession, identity document, CPF, address, email, telephone number, education, IP address (Internet Protocol), geolocation, vehicle data, among others.
“Sensitive Personal Data” is information that is more intimate and personal to an individual. Accordingly, Sensitive Personal Data are about racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, filiation to a union or to an organization of religious, philosophic or political nature, data referring to health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data.
“Processing” means every operation performed with Personal Data, such as the ones referring to collection, production, reception, rating, utilization, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, elimination, assessment or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, diffusion or extraction;
“Data Subject” is the individual to whom the Personal Data refers in the Processing;
Depending on the type of Data Subject (employees, vendors, partners or clients) and the way in which this Data Subject interacts with Idlewild , different categories of information are collected, such as:
- Personal contact information: any information provided with the intention of contacting us, such as name, postal address, email address, business address, social media information and telephone number.
- Account Login Information: any information necessary to provide access to a specific account profile to use our services. Examples include email address, username, password in unrecoverable format, and/or security question and answer, among others.
- Technical information about your computer/mobile device: any information about the computer system or other device you use to access our pages, our services or our applications, the IP address used to connect your computer or device to the internet, the type of operating system and the type and version of the web browser, among other navigation information.
- Financial and Payment Information: information necessary for placing orders/agreements/billing/collections/remunerations/refunds. Idlewild certifies that its payment processing service ensures that payment and financial information complies with applicable laws, regulations and security standards.
- Sensitive Personal Data: Whenever it is necessary to collect and process Sensitive Personal Data for any reason, your prior and express consent will be requested. If it is necessary to process Sensitive Personal Data for other purposes, this has a legal basis and Idlewild will provide prior notice to the Data.
- Personal Data of Children and Adolescents: Whenever it is necessary to collect and process Personal Data from children and minors (such as health plan information and other benefits or obligations), explicit consent will be requested from parents or guardians.
2.1. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING PURPOSE
The Processing of your Personal Data may be carried out by Idlewild with your consent, when applicable, in various ways, by legal, regulatory, contractual obligation or in other ways. Idlewild may ask you to provide your consent in writing, or by any means that confirms it, whenever necessary.
Your Personal Data is collected to enable and/or improve the provision of the language services for which Idlewild was contracted, as well as to:
- Identification and/or offering relevant content about a specific preference and/or interest expressed by you to Idlewild , including, without limitation, newsletters, events, invitations, reminders, thank you notes, among others;
- Carrying out customer relationship and service activities;
- Composition of Idlewild’s vendor and service provider database;
- Composition of a database of candidates for job and internship vacancies and service providers at Idlewild;
- Conducting recruitment, admission and training processes so that we can fulfill our labor obligations with professionals/employees;
- Composition of database of employees, Alumni members, committees and other groups;
- Registration of vendors and execution of related agreements;
- Conducting internal operations (financial, accounting, labor, among others), problem solving, data analysis, data onboarding and consolidation;
- Sale of deliverables and/or services;
- Risk management and detection, prevention and/or remediation of fraud or other potentially illegal or prohibited activities, as well as violations of applicable policies, agreements or terms of use;
- Protection, defense and administration of Idlewild’s interests;
- Carrying out environmental and social responsibility projects and activities;

2.2. Types of Data Collected on the Website and Record Methods
Idlewild collects Personal Data through online forms or through physical means when you, for example, register for an event, submit information to apply for a job, or fill out a contact form on the website.
When you register or submit your information to Idlewild, we generally ask for information such as your name, email address, phone number, job title and company. In addition, other personal information may be received through résumés sent by you when applying for a job, through outsourced parties, such as the company where you work, or even from public sources.
2.3. Browsing data and Cookies
When you visit our website, we collect standard internet log data and behavioral patterns. Idlewild performs this action to collect information such as the number of visitors to different parts of the Idlewild website.
We use analytics tools that help us analyze access to and use of our website. The tool uses “cookies”, which are text files located on your computer, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form, always with the aim of evaluating visitors’ use of the website and compiling statistical reports on activity on the Idlewild website. Idlewild pages or services may also use other tracking technologies, including IP addresses, log files, and web beacons, which also help us tailor the Idlewild website to your personal needs.
- Data Storage and Retention
Idlewild may store your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy and applicable laws or regulations, as the case may be. To determine the form and duration of the Processing of your Personal Data by Idlewild, the nature of your Personal Data provided to Idlewild and the purpose of the Processing will be considered. Once the purpose has been fulfilled, your Personal Data will be deleted.
Public translations, also known as sworn translations, are public documents and cannot be discarded. The public translator must keep a copy of each translation made and register it with the state Commercial Board in which he/she is registered (Decree 13.609/43 and Deliberation of the Commercial Board of each state).
The elimination of data and information, when necessary, will be carried out through established physical or electronic elimination procedures, respecting other existing legislation and in a way that eliminates all evidence and copies in Idlewild’s possession.
- Personal Data Sharing
Idlewild will not sell your Personal Data, but may share or transfer it to outsourced parties, in Brazil or abroad, in order to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy and any court orders or decisions of any other competent authority, in accordance with applicable legislation. Therefore, Idlewild may share or transfer your Personal Data with outsourced parties, within or outside Brazil, in the following cases:
- The services provided by Idlewild require the support of a technological infrastructure that may be established outside Brazil, such as servers and cloud services, which may be owned or provided by outsourced parties, IT systems providers or services related to payroll and human resources, among others;
- Banks, exclusively for contractual or labor transactions;
- Business partners with whom Idlewild maintains collaborations or alliances, who will be aware of and will assume responsibilities and commitments regarding the privacy of Personal Data agreed in specific contractual By authorizing the quote, you are giving Idlewild consent to send, when necessary, your personal data or possible personal and/or sensitive data contained in the documents sent, to partner professionals who are outside Brazil for the sole purpose of meeting your request for language services in the best way possible. The data sent will only be that necessary to carry out the requested activities, guaranteeing the rights, principles and safeguards established by the LGPD regime; and
- Administrative and judicial authorities that, in the exercise of their competence, require such information.
For cases not provided for above in which it is necessary to share Personal Data, the Data Subject will be asked for their express authorization (consent) by sending a notification with information about the sharing.
In all cases, Idlewild undertakes to share only the Personal Data that is necessary to fulfill the respective purpose or to fulfill the respective specific order, as the case may be.
- Cross-Border Data Transfer
The services provided by Idlewild require the support of a technological infrastructure that may be established outside of Brazil, such as servers and cloud services, which may be owned or provided by outsourced parties. Furthermore, in order to carry out its activities, Idlewild may in some cases have to share your Personal Data with outsourced parties outside Brazil.
In such cases, Idlewild ensures that it will only hire outsourced parties that meet the highest security standards and that apply, at least, the same level of compliance with the LGPD, such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for data transfers to Europe, and with the ADPPA (American Federal Data Protection and Privacy Act) for data transferred to the USA.
- Security
Idlewild and the outsourced parties with whom your Personal Data may be shared observe the security standards necessary to prevent and remedy unauthorized access to Personal Data, employing the applicable means and recommended security standards to protect them to the extent that they are technically and operationally feasible.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to Idlewild, and not to outsourced parties’ websites. - Data Subject’s Rights
Idlewild respects your privacy and is concerned with providing the necessary channels so that you can exercise your rights and receive adequate, clear and transparent information about the use and processing of your Personal Data. Therefore, any request to change incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data and/or to delete data provided to Idlewild, including Personal Data, must be made by email to privacidade@korntraducoes.com.br.
The request will be analyzed and, if it does not imply interruption of the provision of services provided by Idlewild or falls under any of the data conservation hypotheses, it will be carried out. If this involves interruption of the provision of services, your relationship with Idlewild will be terminated, but the obligations arising from the provision will remain valid and, in this case, your information and Personal Data will continue to be used and processed by Idlewild and/or authorized outsourced parties
until the need or purposes provided for in this Policy are satisfied.
In addition to changing and deleting Personal Data, you may also exercise the following rights by submitting a request to Idlewild, by email to dpo@korntraducoes.com.br:
- confirmation as to whether the processing of your Personal Data is carried out by Idlewild and/or authorized outsourced parties, including after the termination of your relationship with Idlewild;
- obtaining information about what Personal Data is stored and otherwise processed by Idlewild;
- information about the public and private entities with which Idlewild has shared data;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data:
- information about the possibility of not providing consent and about the consequences of refusal when Idlewild requests your consent for the Personal Data Processing in a specific situation;
- revocation of consent when Idlewild requests your consent for the Personal Data Processing in a specific situation; and
